Ground-breaking ceremony held at Parc Eirin

November 8, 2019

As work to create 225 new affordable homes at Parc Eirin in Rhondda Cynon Taf gets underway, Julie James AM and Minister for Housing and Local Government, has attended a turf cutting ceremony on site.

The innovative new scheme will be delivered via a partnership between Pobl Group, Tirion Homes and Sero Energy, with Morganstone appointed to construct the scheme.

The initial phases will see 112 homes built for Pobl (private sale and shared ownership), with the remainder to be rental homes managed by Tirion Homes.

The scheme has received £7m funding from the Welsh Government’s Innovative Housing Programme and, when complete, will deliver low energy systems for the entire site via Sero Energy’s Home Energy Management service, helping to build a sustainable community.
