Ken Haines – Senior Independent Director

Ken operates as an objective team member with both internal and outsider viewpoint, mindful of strategic factors and monitoring performance of Tirion in all areas of its growth, organisation and operation. He is a reminder when needed of what we are all “here to do”. He gained extensive experience in the built environment sector with responsibility for technical evaluation, design and project management for development companies operating in Midlands, Southern England and South Wales. Posts held included Quantity Surveyor, Design and Construction Manager. Founder, Managing Director and later Chairman of a PLC Construction and Development Group with sales exceeding £80m and concluded by successful negotiation of strategic sale to Vinci PLC. He is experienced in formation and management of growth orientated teams and the required financials to achieve success. He has been responsible for many significant Public, commercial and residential developments in the Capital and throughout South Wales. He operates his own investment company of mainly commercial and office buildings. He is also a Trustee of Registered Charity Huggard.
